Manchester team win The Florence Institute

Monday, 30 November 2009

We have been appointed as Project Managers on the restoration of The Florence Institute - a Grade II* listed building in Liverpool. The building was the first Boys Club in the UK which opened in 1889 and was paid for by the Mayor of Liverpool, whose daughter Florence died at an early age. The building closed in 1988 and has laid derelict since. The building will be restored as a Facility for the Community and Incubator Businesses, due to open in mid 2011. Construction value is at an estimated £4.7 million. Purcell Miller Trittonis the appointed architect. Our team in Manchester will be managing this project.
