Reiss Headquarters at 10 Barrett Street, London won the South East Regional BCO (British Council for Offices) Award for small projects up to 2,000m² (6,562 sq ft) . This will go up against ghd Corporate Headquarters in Leeds and Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park Headquarters in Scotland to compete for a National Award in October. The winning buildings were hailed by judges as striking examples of buildings which overcame complex challenges, at the same time as delivering product to the absolute highest standards.
Reiss Headquarters has also won a national RIBA award. It will be one of the 103 UK and European projects considered for the Stirling Prize nomination.
The new Barrett Street development, designed by architects Squire and Partners, consists of 38,500 sq ft of space for retail, office and residential accommodation. Buro Four provided project management services to the development.
